The SCU account allows you to access the resources and services provided by the SCU. It also allows you to access the gateway nodes for off-campus access.
The SCU account is not the same as your institutional (CWID) account. The institutional account is provided and supported by ITS. To obtain an institutional account. please contact your department administrator.
Request a new SCU account
Use this form to request access to the computational resources provided by the SCU. We require your institutional or departmental affiliation as well as the name of your administrator, or PI, to fulfill the request. Please include your PI in the email, as we would need their approval.
SCU's clusters:
- Greenerg (Retiring soon)
- BRB Cluster – uses cwid credentials
- Cayuga(CAC/Ithaca) - requires a separate form, emailed separately – cwid required and separate password
New lab accounts, specifically for new labs, will be generated on either the BRB or Cayuga cluster.
For new users SCU will allocate accounts according to the lab's placement within the clusters.
