SciComp HPC Clusters

  1. Greenerg (Retiring soon)

  2. BRB Cluster –  uses cwid credentials

  3. Cayuga(CAC/Ithaca) - requires a separate form, emailed separately – cwid required

  4. AI - In partnership with Radiology, a cutting-edge high-performance computing (HPC) cluster specifically designed for AI-driven image training.

How do I know which cluster I logging onto?

To determine which cluster you’re logging onto, you can follow this step:

  1. Check the Command Prompt or Terminal: When you log in, the prompt often includes the cluster name.

    1. For example, it might look something like user@login-node~$

  • BRB Cluster Login Nodes

    • scu-login01.med.cornell.edu → cwid@scu-login01:~$

    • scu-login02.med.cornell.edu → cwid@scu-login02:~$

    • scu-vis1.med.cornell.edu (visualization node – Matlab, R, etc…) → cwid@scu-vis1:~$

  • Cayuga Cluster Login Nodes

    • cayuga-login1.cac.cornell.edu → cwid@cayuga-login1:~$

    • cayuga-login2.cac.cornell.edu → cwid@cayuga-login2:~$

    • cayuga-vis1.cac.cornell.edu → cwid@cayuga-vis1:~$

  • AI Cluster Login nodes

    • ai-login01.med.cornell.edu → cwid@ai-login01:~$

    • ai-login02.med.cornell.edu → cwid@ai-login02:~$
